Step to Unlock Bootloader in Xiaomi Phone
- Enable USB Debugging on Xiaomi. The trick is to go to Settings and then go to About Phone, after that Tap or press MIUI Version 5 to 7 times to activate Developer Options.
- Go back to Settings, enable Enable Sync Option, then Tap Mi Cloud, after that scroll down and activate Turn on Find Device option, then scroll up and Tap on Sync Details.
- After that tap Sync All Items. This stage will synchronize all items on the Xiaomi phone.
- Back to Settings, Select Additional Settings, select Developer Options.
- Press Developer Options, then Turn on OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging Options.
- After that Activate Mobile Data / Internet on the Xiaomi Device.
- Now you need to Tap on Mi Unlock Status then press Agree Button.
- After that select "Add Account and Device".
- Then turn it off with Power Off on your Xiaomi phone.
- After that enter Fastboot Mode by pressing Volume Down and Power Button simultaneously for some time.
- After entering Fastboot Mode, connect Xiaomi with Computer or PC via USB Cable.
Next Stage Procedure to Unlock Bootloader
- Download Mi Unlock Tool on PC and extract it
- Open folder where you extact it and open "miflash_unlock" and choose agree
- Next Sign in with your Mi Account
- Then click Unlock
- After that, if there prompted message choose Unlock Anyway and continue process
- Now the process of Unlocking Bootloader will be start, and wait until message Unlocked Successfully
- Done your Xiaomi Phone have been successfully Unlocked Bootloader
if there any message appear Couldn't Unlock in the process, you need to wait for the process for 168 hours, approximately 1 week or 7 days. After passing this time, repeat the process again and do as the steps described above.
How to Check Your Xiaomi Phone Already Succesfully Unlock Bootloader
- Go to Settings
- Press Build Number 7 to 8 times to activate Developer Options
- Back to Settings
- Go to Additional Settings then Developer Options
- Press Mi Unlock Status
- Later, if it has been unlocked, the message This Device is Unlocked will appear
